Superb and aesthetic, Cubist Modern Art scultpure of mirror-bright pyrite cubes from Navajun. Pyrites from Navajun are one of the most easily recognizeable and abundant display specimens in the world and this is an outstanding example. The four, bright brass-yellow cubes, to 3.0 cm, form a surreal 360-degree specimen when rotated. The color and high luster, razor-sharp edges and dramatic form make an exceptional sculpture for this species. Essentially pristine, with only a few tiny bits of damage and, as with all such clusters, one assumes a repair or two. Ex Ervin Collection.
