This features a laser sharp, lustrous, olive-green epidote crystal from the premiere world-wide locality for epidote. A single, lustrous, 4.5 cm, prismatic Epidote crystal sits in a velvety, green colored nest of hair-like Actinolite on this super attractive cabinet piece. The Epidote is lightly striated, well-terminated, and shines in the light. The Byssolite is just incredibly attractive with its multiple green colors and hair-like, fibrous texture. This is a relatively large and roughly triangular piece that sits nicely on its own for display. Very highly representative of both species at this renowned locale.
