The striking and unusual white core on one side is surrounded by beautiful dense banding of variable green on this exquisite polished slice of a malachite stalactite from the famous copper mines of Kolwezi. The striking outer banding surrounds the dark green banded core on the other side. The interesting concentrated fractures really add pizzazz to both sides. Classic and superb older material from the 1960s or 70s. Comes with a custom-made lucite base valued at $145, for free. Valued at $900.
