Item Description
A fine, beautiful legrandite thumbnail with exquisite shape, form, and particularly COLOR of all things one needs in a legrandite. The crystal is translucent, sharp, and just so much more aesthetic than the usual "common" single we often see as a thumbnail, because it is a cluster and fills volume better. From the private collection of Tom Gressman, donated in support of the Mineralogical Record at Auction. He obtained it from Allan Young, another prominent thumbnail collector who has won the Desautels award. He purchased this (from us) in 2003, as this was one of the older finds, from the 1980s. Valued $2000.
