A stunning, gorgeous, 5.7 cm scheelite crystal is dramatically set on the undulating pearlescent muscovite matrix plate on this impressive and important large combination from Mt. Xuebaoding. The glassy golden-yellow translucent pseudo-hexagonal tetragonal crystal has beautiful gemmy corners and striking stepped-growth faces. It is superb, in all ways. This is a MAJOR rock, that Bob bought back when they were coming out in the early 2000s, and it has a great size, shape, and condition. It is pristine. It has a good edge horizon with the muscovite framing the scheelites nicely, and it is not repaired in any way. The scheelite has a rich glow, when backlit. The three smaller scheelites are super accessories. Ghostly white scheelite fluorescence is a bonus! Material of this quality is no longer coming out of this locale. Ex Bob Reynolds Collection.
