An impressive and dramatic specimen with a complex ridge of large, highly lustrous Hausmannite cryatals on Manganite matrix, accented with gemmy Calcites, from this famous mine which has produced arguably the world's best of species. The larger of the stepped crystals averages about 1 cm on edge, which is excellent size for the species; but they combine to form wavelike growths of larger, pagoda-like clusters. These are VERY good crystals of high quality and unusually well displayed. The piece as a whole is impressive. valued $1000-1500, this is old material from the 1980s
