Item Description
A dramatically aesthetic and superb large combination from Jalgaon. A stunning 6.0 cm tapered fan of lustrous, translucent dark rose-pink heulandite blades with nifty brick-red accents and dusted with tiny 3rd-generation stilbites is beautifully set on the large artistic and sculptural matrix. Pearlescent, light peach stilbite blades dominate the matrix highlighted by the striking 3.8 cm bowtie on the left side. A few 2nd-generation tabular pearlescent blades and more 3rd-generation stilbites are fine accessories. AND you can barely see the coated 4.3 cm heulandite on the left side beneath the bowtie stilbite. The back looks great, too. This exceptional large combination was formerly in the original collection of very well-known collector Dr. Steve Neely, who assembled an important sub-collection of world-class Indian Zeolite Group specimens. Steve sold this collection in 1998 and started anew. Ex Robert Nowakoski Collection # 293. Combination specimens with pink heulandite of this quality and architecture are RARE from Jalgaon. Valued at $2000-3000 and well worth it.
