Superb gem Topaz w/ Cleavelandite (Steve Smale Coll.)

An unbelievably architectural and superb gem topaz from the Steve Smale Collection. The form is fantastic with the two projecting modified faces flanking the center of the crystal and the modified pinacoidal edges. The limpid, very glassy crystal has fine light champagne color and the cluster of pearlescent cleavelandite blades in the front is a super accessory. Pristine, as you would expect from a Smale Collection piece. Pieces of this superb quality and aesthetics are very seldom on the market and I obtained this in a large trade with Steve. Fairly valued at $3000-4000.
