A superlative, exotic and RARE 360-degree combination small cabinet from the Erongos. A gorgeous emerald-green, 1.2 cm, lustrous, translucent fluorite cube is artistically set on two striking intergrown Carlsbad-twinned microcline crystals. The piece is fantastically accented by the 3.3 cm, lustrous, etched, striated schorl and smaller dramatically placed schorls. The unusual striations on the porcelaenous feldspars are albite exsolution lamellae, which add even more visual appeal to this surreal cutie. The UV light shows purple fluorite fluorescence AND neon-green hyalite opal on the schorl crystal. An exceptional Erongo combination from the Shields Flynn Collection.
