Item Description
A superb and beautiful, trident-shaped, cyclic-twinned cerussite crystal from the famous and now-closed Tsumeb Mine. The cerussite blades have intense pearlescence and stunning schiller effect, which is iridescence caused by the scattering of light between the crystal layers. Both sides of this textbook, shimmering crystal look great, although one edge of the central crystal termination is very lightly bruised and one limb has extremely trivial edgewear on one side on close exam. A classic, outstanding and rarely encountered Tsumeb cerussite style, this is simply an outstanding minaiture. Ex Jaime Bird Collection. Valued at $900-1000 and worth it.
