Fluorite is RARE from the famous Mammoth-Saint Anthony Mine and this is an outstanding and rich combination small cabinet. The striking, sculptural, dense boxwork of lustrous golden-yellow wulfenite windowpanes is dramatically, richly and preferentially coated with beautiful tiny purple fluorite cubes and uncommon tiny, glassy, colorless willemite crystals. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 6659 and acquired from the Shale's in May, 1972. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
