Fabulous, gemmy, yellow, anglesite crystals are aesthetically set in a sculptural curved vug in massive galena matrix on this superb specimen from Touissit. The gorgeous, water-clear, striated crystals, to 1.5 cm, have razor-sharp, chisel terminations. Touissit anglesites of this exceptional quality are generally considered to be the world's finest. These specimen date to the 1970s or 80s. The base has been sawed to enhance the display quality and the piece comes with a custom-made and engraved lucite base (valued at $150) as a free bonus. Ex Daniel Trinchillo Sr. Collection, and valued at $1800-2000 at the Heritage Auction of his collection.
