Item Description

From a brand new discovery in January of 2025, here we have a beautiful polished freeform cabochon cut gem of what is being called "Sunstruck Agate" from East Java, Indonesia. The material is not the typical banded or concentric style of Agate, but rather features a warm orange background with stark red lines (almost like lightning bolts) running through it. The warm hues combined with the beautiful red "veins" in the gem make for something unique and special, unlike any other Agate I can recall. Our good contact in Jakarta secured the entire lot for us, but it was quite limited. We'll be offering these stones in the coming weeks and months in the auctions, but get them while you can because we're told that there may not be more of them going forward.
