Item Description
One of the most exceptional things I have seen from the United States is Sunstone from Oregon. This material comes in a myriad of colors ranging from yellow, orange, red, green and even blue in rare cases. Aside from the the extremely rare blue variety, the most hard to find color of this material in good size stones is red. This stone has a beautiful copper/peach color with a "Cut Corner Trillion" cut. Typically, many of the stones from this area have what is called a "shiller" which is a shimmer in the stone, and you can see it in this gem when rotated in the light. The "shiller" is caused by micro inclusions of Copper. Don't miss ouf on this great U.S. gemstone.
