Item Description
One of the most exceptional things I have seen from the United States is Sunstone from Oregon. This material comes in a myriad of colors ranging from yellow, orange, red, green and even blue in rare cases. Aside from the the extremely rare blue variety, the most hard to find color of this material in good size stones is red. This stone has a beautiful and high sought after reddish-pink and blue bicolor appearance, which is extremely rare in my experience with this material. This stone is a nice quality, "Emerald" cut gem. Typically, many of the stones from this area have what is called a "shiller" which is a shimmer in the stone, and this gem does have a slight amount of "shiller" as well. Don't miss ouf on this great U.S. gemstone. Valued at $140 retail.
