Sunstone (multicolor)

One of the most exceptional things I have seen from the United States is Sunstone from Oregon. Transparent Feldspar is rare in general, but to find such wonderfully colorful material is even more exciting. This material comes in a myriad of colors ranging from yellow, orange, red, green and even blue in rare cases. Aside from the the extremely rare blue variety, the most hard to find color of this material in good size stones is red. This stone has a beautiful peach hue. The gem has a "Round Brilliant cut. Typically, many of the stones from this area have what is called a "shiller" which is a shimmer in the stone, but this stone is very clean for the material.
