One of the most exceptional things I have seen from the United States is Sunstone from Oregon. This material comes in a myriad of colors ranging from yellow, orange, red, green and even blue in rare cases. Aside from the the extremely rare blue variety, the most hard to find color of this material in good size stones is red. This stone has a nice mix of "champange", reddish-orange and pale green colors. It is a nice quality gem with a "Bufftop Round" cut. Typically, many of the stones from this area have what is called a "shiller" which is a shimmer in the stone. This stone has a nice amount of shiller and looks very attractive in any kind of light.
