Item Description
One of the most exceptional things I have seen from the United States is Sunstone from Oregon. This material comes in a myriad of colors ranging from yellow, orange, red, green and even blue in rare cases. Aside from the the extremely rare blue variety, the most hard to find color of this material in good size stones is red. This stone has a beautiful champagne hue, which is typical for the material. The gem has a "Square" cut. Typically, many of the stones from this area have what is called a "shiller" which is a shimmer in the stone caused by micro inclusions of Native Copper, and you can clearly see them in this stone when you look through the pavillion. Don't miss ouf on this great, colorful U.S. gemstone.
