Item Description
One of the most exceptional things I have seen from the United States is Sunstone from Oregon. This material comes in a myriad of colors ranging from yellow, orange, red, green and even blue in rare cases. Aside from the the extremely rare blue variety, the most hard to find color of this material in good size stones is red. This stone is a nice quality, hard to find color, "Quatnum Cusion" cut gem with a beautiful mix of "champagne" and peachy-pink hues. The determining factor which makes this material very impressive and valuable is how saturated the color is. Typically, many of the stones from this area have what is called a "shiller" which is a shimmer in the stone. This stone has a good amount of shiller in it and this material is highly prized by the locals who mine it. This material is becoming difficult to find in any size or quantity recently, so don't miss out on this one.
