Item Description
Classic and very showy old-time small cabinet sulfur combination from this famous Agrigento mine. Sharp, gemmy sulfur crystals, to 1.8 cm, are aesthetically scattered on the sculptural aragonite crystal matrix. Bitumen coats and is included in the sulfur and aragonite crystals. The gemmy sulfur crystals on the edges are remarkable, really add pizzazz to the specimen and GLOW, when backlit. All of the major sulfur crystals are pristine on this very fine combination. Pink aragonite fluorescence. Excellent sulfur combination material from the Cozzo Disi Mine. Value of this fine old-timer?? From the L. Pellegrini collection of Italy.
