Item Description
This is the first specimen of Sulfur that we've had to offer from Darwin. The species is reported from the Defiance Mine and the Thompson Mine, but this piece was only labeled as coming from "Darwin", so it's difficult to say for certain where this piece was found specifically. A coverage of bright yellow micro crystalline Sulfur is sitting atop silvery colored Acanthite (labeled Argentite) and Galena. If you collect native elements or minerals of California, be sure to pick up this specimen, as you would be hard pressed to find another from Darwin on the market today.
