Item Description

A STRIKING and DRAMATIC, complete all-around, CABINET specimen of gemmy, canary-yellow sulfur crystals festooned on all sides of a 3-dimensional stalactite of lustrous, brown to white, bladed barite. This very showy piece is from the famous Machow Mine of Poland and the Dave Stoudt Collection. The trivial bit of edgewear on one side and on the termination has very minimal impact on this imposing piece. This fine specimen can be displayed from any side, as you can see. Dave lived and worked in Poland for a number of years and bought the specimen there directly from miners who collected it. Valued? Never seen another like it, myself
