Item Description

Very attractive single crystal of completely gemmy Gypsum, remarkably included by Sulfur. The main face of the gemmy Gypsum is perfectly formed, and the ends are cleaved. The smooth faces have superb luster. One face is seemingly etched, creating an aesthetic melted-glass look. Half of the back is coated by a fluorescent mineral, Calcite I think. The Sulfur crystals add a lovely yellow to the Gypsum, and look quite intriguing suspended within the clear crystal. An unusual, pretty piece, and not very common.
