Item Description

This is a cluster of large, doubly terminated, glassy and gemmy, sulfur crystals, to over 4.0 cm in length. The back side of the crystals has an overgrowth of sugary, tan colored calcite or perhaps melanophlogite. From the collection of james Moresby White. An old Krantz label accompanies this piece, dating it to the late 1800s. It is a very unusual specimen in overall aspect, and valued at $750
