Item Description
Striking upright gemmy sulfur crystals above the dense forest of smaller crystals highlights this showy matrix specimen from Bolivia. These crystals reach about 2.0 cm. The crystals on this piece are PARTICULARLY gemmy, not opaque bright yellow, but TRANSPARENT and jewel-like (much better in person!). The camera does not come close to capturing them; they are really like bright gems - way beyond Italian or Russian sulfurs in brightness and luster! Periphery wear is noted, but is only a modest detraction from this impressive specimen.
