Item Description
From an amazingly gemmy batch of specimens that recently came from this contemporary sulfur find. The finds of beautiful crystallized sulfur in Bolivia came at a great time, when old specimens from Sicily have become really hard to get and expensive, and only a trickle is coming from Russia. The crystals, up to 1.8 cm. on this fine piece are PARTICULARLY gemmy - not opaque bright yellow, but TRANSPARENT and jewel-like (much better in person!). Some are even hoppered. The camera does not come close to capturing them; they are really like bright gems - way beyond Italian or Russian sulfurs in brightness and luster!
