Item Description
This gorgeous specimen looks like purple velvet, more than any usual crystalline material, and may be the finest thumbnail of its style (according to Alex, who saw the pocket). This comes from the late 2013 discovery of this style of floater growths of solid sugilite crystals, in a single pocket. Alex believes this extraordinary purple fibrous floater is the finest thumbnail for his taste because of its size and balance, and uniformity of quality, not that there are not other thumbnails out there.
