Item Description
This is a classic association specimen from this well known locality in west Germany. This mine had been active up until 2007, and was mined during the 20th Century mostly for Barite. This piece features some attractive crystals of very pale pink, translucent, prismatic Strontianite crystals which measure up to 6 mm on bladed, opaque soft pink Barite with brassy colored Chalcopyrite crystals. A good reference piece of this beautiful material.
