Item Description
One of the great Austrian classics are the beautiful and fine quality Strontianites from Oberdorf an der Laming in Steiermark. This two specimen set features sharp, well-formed, gemmy to translucent soft golden color prismatic pseudohexagonal crystals of Strontianite measuring up to 1.2 (on the larger specimen). Great quality, virtually undamaged on both pieces, and the crystals show the classic bicolor appearance with a darker peachy hue on the terminations. The piece comes with a label that says it was part of the "Thompson Collection".
