Oberdorf strontianite specimens are a European classic and this is a very aesthetic miniature combination. This locality is famous for hard to find sharp hexagonal crystals. The glassy, lustrous crystals, to 1.3 cm, have colorless bodies and beautiful tan terminations. They are elegantly scattered on the sculptural vuggy matrix of tiny clusters of tiny, sparkly, sharp, dolomite rhombs. From an East Coast collection.
