Item Description

Stromeyerite is an uncommon Ag-Cu sulfosalt and is quite rare, worldwide, in specimens. It is EXTREMELY RARE (not listed by MINDAT) from this less well-known copper mine started in 1985. Two thin veinlets, to 2.6 cm, host lustrous, pretty iridescent and brilliant silvery platelets in the banded quartz-rich matrix. The iridescent crystals could be bornite. RARE material from the Art Soregaroli Collection.
