This fantastic gem water-clear colorless calcite from the famed Nikolaevskiy Mine has surreal stepped-growth faces and is dramatically twinned on all four sides! The sharp modified tabular scalenohedral form adds even more pizzazz to this beauty. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. Gentle contacting/bruising to the back of the termination is noted but have minimal impact to the outstanding quality of this fine calcite. Dal'negorsk, like Tsumeb, is renowned for calcite quality and diversity and this is an extremely fine and classic example. Neon-orange fluorescence. Valued at $750-1000.
