Item Description

Strengite is an uncommon iron phosphate. This outstanding and rich specimen is from the famous Leveaniemi Iron Mine of Sweden. Lustrous, translucent, lavender strengite spheres to 6 mm are aesthetically scattered on the massive magnetite and martite matrix. This mine was active from 1964 to 1983 and this is older material.
