Strengite and Phosphosiderite ex Kosnar Coll

Item Description

This old classic contains what are considered some of the finest Strengite crystals ever found. These rare phosphates, up to 6 mm, are incredibly GEMMY, have excellent luster, and are a beautiful purple color. Associated with the Strengites are rose-pink crystals of the uncommon hydrated Fe-phosphate Phosphosiderite. This is a rich and important combination specimen, and collecting at this quarry is now strictly prohibited.
