Item Description
An attractive specimen from this well-known phosphate locality in Alabama. This small cabinet sized piece features excellent, sparkling, radiating "balls" and "sprays" of light purple colored Strengite sitting matrix. Unpon close inspection, one can see classic golden-yellow Cacoxenite spheres along with dark green radiating aggregates of Dufrénite with dark reddish-brown Beraunite The piece is best seen with magnification, and we've photographed the piece with a Canon MP-E 65 mm macro lens to better illustrate the quality. There are some contacted areas, so the piece isn't perfect, but there are plenty of spots that are undamaged and very attractive up close.
