Item Description

A rare, sharp, tan stolzite after scheelite crystal embedded in matrix from the famous Darwin District of California. This crystal has textbook tetragonal form and moderate luster. A bit of scratching is noted to one crystal face. Very highly representative material. Once thought to be scheelites, these are now shown to be in fact, stolzite. Old-time and rare material from the East Coast collection of Clifford Joseph.
