Item Description

An excellent combination of examples of these species, from an important find brought to market by Carlos Barbosa before he passed away in the late 1990s. I recall when these came out, it was almost impossible to find even a single specimen with Stokesite (the sharp grayish tan bladed crystals) and either the Stannomicrolite (brown crystal) or Uranmicrolite (the other dark mineral). This one, amazingly, has both. The Stokesite is in a large rosette of 3mm blades in aggregate, and the various Microlites range up to about .8 cm. The rosette is quite nicely formed, and aesthetic. A very rare, quality thumbnail of some importance for the find. Valued $500
