Stokesite is an uncommon hydrated calcium-tin-bearing silicate with the world's best crystals coming out of this locality in the late 1990s from a few small finds, from which this piece came. This is a nice thumbnail hemisphere from this find showing its tan crystalline surface on one side and the radial divergent pattern on the other side (what would be the inside). Rarely do we see a Stokesite revealed this way! A very good and unique piece for the species and a huge ball shaped cluster as a major thumbnail sized example. Valued $1000-1250. Ex.
