Item Description
This is a very aesthetic and uncommon Namibian specimen from Grootberg Pass in Namibia. A large, colorful rosette-like cluster of yellow-orange Stilbite displays prominently on an orange-rust colored piece of altered basalt. The bulb-like cluster measures 3.6 cm across and is accented by a trio of pale peach, 1.5 cm sheaves of Heulandite. The Stilbite has a sheen to it and the piece is well balanced and has great presentation. The stilbites are pristine. We had not seen these for sale in many, many years! A fine miniature for the species, with unusual strong color.
