Item Description

A rarely seen "bow tie"-shaped aggregate of soft yellow Stilbite from the Bendougou (Bendoukou) locality best known for its beautiful vibrant green Prehnite and dark green Epidote associations. This piece is one of the only "bow ties" that I've seen from any locality in Mali. The minor associated Epidote on the back is a great touch as well. This material has been coming out for around 10 years now, and pieces like this are not common on the market. If you collect Zeolites, or just like to add pieces to suites, this is a great chance to pick up a good quality, lustrous Stilbite for a great price for your collection.
