Stilbite with Calcite (ex Brian Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

An good reference specimen from the famous locality at Moore's Station. The piece is filled with eye-catching, Calcite crystals which are associated with pale orange color, lustrous Stilbite "blades" and "sheaves". Both species cover nearly the entire display side of the specimen, and is a beautiful piece for the material. As a species, Stilbite typically is white/colorless in hue, so to find crystals with an eye-catching color is rare. One does not see this association from Moore's Station as often as specimens with just plain Stilbite.
