Stilbite with Calcite (ex Brian Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

An attractive display specimen from the famous locality at Moore's Station. The piece hosts a few eye-catching, Calcite crystals which are sitting amongstorange color Stilbite "blades" and "sheaves" on matrix. The crystals cover nearly the entire display side of the specimen, and is a beautiful piece for the material. As a species, Stilbite typically is white/colorless in hue, so to find crystals with an eye-catching color is rare. The piece is certainly one of the better pieces from the locality that I have offered in the auctions with this association.
