Stilbite with Calcite and Prehnite (ex Brian Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

This Trap Rock locality is one of the most impressive (and under appreciated) localities in the world. This quarry has produced some amazing specimens in the last 100 years. This specimen features some beautiful golden color "sheaves" of Stilbite which are coated by small Calcite rhombs and associated with minor greenish Prehnite on the upper / back portion of the specimen. The crystals are extremely attractive with decen gemminess form. You don't see many specimens of this material on the market these days. A nice display specimen from this historic east coast locality.
