Stilbite with Apophyllite (ex Brian Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

A classic group of peach color Stilbite crystals with GEM/gemmy, prismatic Apophyllite crystals on the reverse side. The Stilbites are very sharp, lustrous, and incredibly well-formed. The crystals actually formed around a thin stalactite of Chalcedony, creating this dramatic display piece. The largest Stilbite measures 4.2 cm, and the largest Apophyllite measures 2.0 cm long. The piece is in great shape overall and the displayability leaves nothing to be desired from an aesthetics standpoint. Indian Zeolites may still be fairly common on the market, but you cannot deny the fact that they are colorful, attractive, highly displayable and several of them are the finest examples of their respective species extant!
