Stilbite with Apophyllite

Item Description

Wonderful combination piece of pearlescent salmon pink Stilbite crystals, up to 4.1 cm wide, associated with blocky, gem clear Apophyllite crystals up to 1.2 cm. The Stilbites have a nice mix of both distinctive vertical crystals elevating above the base as well as horizontal doubly terminated bowtie crystals. An attractive combo from the traprocks of Maharashtra, India. The majority of the crystals appear free of damage with only peripheral edge wear present. An excellent representative specimen from older finds, with stand out color saturation and crystal size. Ex. Kurt Hefendehl collection.
