Item Description
The Fanwood Quarry (Weldon Quarry) is a well-known trap rock locality in northern New Jersey, which is famous for producing some of the finest Prehnite epimorphs/perimorphs after Glauberite ever found. This quarry has also had yielded some attractive Stilbites over the years, and this piece hosts a few fine quality, spherical aggregate of rich orange-golden colored Stilbite (Stilbite Subgroup) measuring up to 1.1 cm across along with minor pearly Heulandite and white Calcites can be seen up close. Good quality and presentation on these now hard to find pieces.
