Item Description
Most people don't think of zeolite species when it comes to Swiss Alpine minerals, but they have been found from time to time. This attractive display specimen features a few cream colored radiating groups of Stilbite measuring up to 1.0 cm across associated with minor Smoky Quartz on matrix. An interesting association specimen and a cool novelty to add to any collection. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#10398). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
