Item Description
An attractive specimen of the famous Stilbite from Moore's Station. The piece is filled with eye-catching, soft pumpkin-orange color, lustrous Stilbite "blades" and "sheaves" on matrix. The crystals cover nearly the entire display side of the specimen, and is beautiful for Stilbite. As a species, Stilbite typically is white/colorless in hue, so to find crystals with such a strong an eye-catching color is rare. The is certainly one of the few pieces from the locality that I have offered in the auctions, as there are not many on the market these days.
