Stilbite on Chalcedony

Item Description

A sculptural and showy large stilbite from recent finds in Jalgaon. The very 3-dimensional piece hosts aesthetic clusters of beautiful pearlescent, salmon-pink stilbite crystals. The nifty isolated elongated crystal is 3.8 cm. The chalcedony matrix is peppered with an earlier generation of small very glassy colorless stilbite windowpanes. Jalgaon continually amazes with the high quality and diversity of zeolite specimens and this is a good one.
