Stilbite on Basalt

Item Description

Large, lustrous and translucent, salmon colored stilbite crystals, to 6.5 cm in length, are aesthetically emplaced on basalt. A few of the crystals are doubly terminated. This is a large, flowery, and dramatic cluster, exceptional even amongst the large number of (generally smaller, in this condition) specimens coming out. Valued $1000 and MUCH better in person. It is a common specimen, yes, but not in exceptional quality in this size.
